Bubby the Bear

I've finished the table runner. Onto the koala from knitty! I'm using my mini-skeins (.5 oz each) of blue and light blue tweed from my trip to DC. You need 25 g so I'm doing a blue body with tweed limbs. Exciting! I've never done a stuffed animal before, so it's good to start small (right...?).

No knitting for 2 days?!

I have no idea what to do. I have no knitting. TV just isn't the same without a project on my lap. We have bedbugs (*eww*). That means anything fabric that can fit in a garbage bag must go into a garbage bag for a 2 day quaranteen. 2 knit free days! Tomorrow is my weekend (the one day I have no work or school) and I intend to head to The Yarn Tree to get some nice new yarn to make a Father's Day present for my dad.

So, onto the new project. Do I make the Fairway Fair Isle golf club covers from knitty? I've never done fair isle before, and when better to start than with over 3 months to tame the beast? Or do I stick to the safe spiral rib golf club covers?
